1. What are your cancellation policies? Can I cancel because of the weather, etc?
We keep our policy very basic so that we can meet the needs of 99% of our guests. Please read our policy carefully as we follow these rules:
- All cancellations for any reservation must be made by calling the office during normal business hours.
- No refunds or credits for any site deposits for cancellations involving Holidays or other designated Special Event weekends.
- Greater than 14 days’ notice must be given to receive a full refund (less a $25 transaction fee).
- 50% refund or credit with less than 14 days’ notice.
- Credits must be used within one year of the date on which they are issued.
- No refunds/credits are given for early departures or “no-shows”.
- No refunds for cancellations less than 24 hours before visit
Please understand that we cannot be held responsible for weather, illness, work schedules, or other situations outside of our control and therefore, enforce our cancellation policy regardless of circumstances. For these reasons we strongly recommend travelers insurance.
2. Do you offer camping discounts?
We offer a variety of travel, promotional, and package discounts.
As these change from time to time we keep a list of all current offers on our main booking page. Simply click the BOOK NOW button from our website and scroll to the bottom of that first page to see what we are offering.
3. What about for guests, any special discounts during our stay?
We host numerous promotions and discounts for our guests to take advantage of prior to booking their stay! Most of these pop up automatically on the booking site, you can also inquire before booking by calling us at 252-617-1010

We are also in the process of creating a loyalty program.
4. Will I receive the reserved site that I request?
You can select a specific site with our booking page however we reserve the right to move your site prior to your visit, however it is very unlikely. You can elect to lock your favorite site so that it is guaranteed during your stay for an additional fee. We recommend locking your site if you are meeting others here or just want to ensure that you have the view that you like.
5. Do you allow pets?
Yes, we love pets! We have lots of open space and trails to run and walk your dogs. We do however ask that you please leave any aggressive animals at home.
6. What time is check-in?
Check-in is at 1pm.
