What started as a vision quickly became reality, with our first RV sites welcoming guests to the waterfront.
Major expansion brought new waterfront sites, walking trails, and fishing areas, growing the campground to 17 sites.
We focused on long term camping improvements, adding a modern bathhouse and expanding to nearly 60 total sites.
Continued growth brought new amenities, expanded recreation areas, and over 60 sites for guests to enjoy along the Neuse River.

History
Founded on July 4th 2023. Along the Neuse River in Grantsboro, Dixon Landing RV Resort sits along land rich in local history, once connected to routes traveled by Native American communities through Eastern North Carolina. What began as conversation led to a welcoming waterfront camping destination where guests can relax, reconnect with nature, and enjoy the beauty of Eastern North Carolina.
